We wanted a relaxed, festival-like party and The Canavan was a big part of creating the overall vibe. The bar and furniture looked incredible and the staff were amazing but what really blew us away was how much Adam and Anika took the stress out of planning such a big event.
After a few chats with Adam early on we felt so confident that he would be able to not only nail the set up and management of the bar but the entire day. We handed over the coordination to the Canavan and didn't look back. "The Canavan was a perfect match for Hamish and I. We live in Perth but were planning a festival vibe wedding in Brisbane. I knew I wanted a fabulous caravan bar for the day but was undecided about the amount of styling/planning help I needed. Turns out Adam and Anika not only have an amazing van perfectly suited to getting cold drinks to thirsty guests, but they can turn your vision for the day into reality with styling help and on-the-day coordination. They offered clear pricing and were flexible and fair in achieving a tailored package that included what we needed and not what we didn't.
From the beginning Anika made it clear that excellent service was their priority, and that came through early on via our many phonecalls, skypes and emails. I had a big vision for the day - Adam and Anika were superb in pulling it all together and keeping multiple vendors moving in and out of a small space with minimum fuss on a tight timetable.
With all this background stuff going on, they were still there smiling behind the bar, serving up their impressive Moscow Mules and Pimms Cups. Plus they're just a cool, laid back couple so it's a pleasure to include them in the lead up to and during what was such an important day for us. I would definitely recommend The Canavan to anyone who wants a premium vintage caravan bar for an event and to anyone planning a party who still wants to be in control of the style and planning but needs a sounding board for ideas and to confidently hand over control of the run sheet on the day."

"Adam and Anika were fantastic to work with for our wedding. We made the decision to make our wedding alcohol-free, which was a decision that seemed bold and daunting at times. However, the Canavan crafted a menu and vibe for our reception that was better than any boring open bar. With strawberry granitas and fresh lemon, lime and bitters flowing freely, our guests slipped into party mode whilst enjoying the relaxed vibe.
We were lucky to have Adam style our reception venue. Styling a barn is no easy feat, but working off just a few inspiration photos we had collected, Adam weaved his magic and worked with the natural elements to create the perfectly understated, organic and rustic vibe that we dreamed of. His years of experience definitely shine through and delegating this task is worth every penny.
